English Teacher - Enfield - September 2026 Start

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their successful English department on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The Role:

Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire a love of reading and writing

Monitoring student progress and supporting attainment across all abilities

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Contributing to the wider English department and school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

A degree related to English or a relevant subject

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

A passion for literacy, education, and student achievement

Excellent communication and organisational skills
